Valentino Rossi was the fastest man in Sunday morning's warmup for the MotoGP class at Estoril, the Italian leading the way ahead of Marlboro Ducati's Casey Stoner and Rossi's Fiat Yamaha teammate Jorge Lorenzo. Monster Tech 3 Yamaha's Ben Spies was 4th fastest in the morning. The MotoGP session was mercifully free of the crashes which blighted the morning Moto2 session, but the MotoGP riders did not face the showery rain which Moto2 had to contend with.
